The Maker is a 5-minute animated film about a rabbit-like creature who, wanting a companion and with limited time to wait, decides to create one. Possibly inspired by Frankenstein, this delightful short uses traditional stop-motion techniques, and has an exquisite look and cinematography.

Various hints, including the violin-style ‘f-holes’ adorning the creator’s head clue us into the fact that music is central to the protagonist and his project. The Maker screened at over 60 festivals and won 23 awards. You can watch a 6-minute behind the scenes mini-documentary here on how the film was made.

Director – Christopher Kezelos of Zealous Creative.

The music score for The Maker is called ‘WINTER’ and was composed by Paul Halley.
